New TTB Ruling on Nutrition Labeling and Advertising
Earlier this week, TTB expanded its rules on tolerances for voluntary calorie statements on labels and in advertisements for wine, distilled spirits, and malt beverages. The ruling allows for the use of ranges and “typical values” in an attempt to make the guidelines more consistent with food labeling regulations in the US.
